What day is it?
I think my child may have multiple personality disorder. One minute he is fine playing on the floor. The next he is insistent on trying to stand up and walk along the furniture or throw himself out of the stroller to get whatever neat thing we just passed. There is also the inconsolable crying unless he can reach out and touch me. Being in the same room is inexcusable. His energy is endless. Endless. This month MrE is working long hours before he turns over to the next unsuspecting CHENG. Poor guy. His replacement that is. So I can't even hand off the Bean. He & all of his personalities are mine from 6am-8pm. He is lucky that smile gets him out of most trouble. I will say that in public he is so well behaved. He is just in awe of everything going on around him. At home it is a different story. I must be a very boring mommy because try as I might, I cannot entertain him enough. This all makes this Mama-Bee very unaware of what day it is or the actual date or that we have been back from MA for over a week now. So it's about time I update & post the pictures over the last few weeks...

So our trip back home was not long enough and long enough to say the least. Two weeks away from MrE always has us a little VA home sick, not to mention the weather is so much better. Back in MA we compacted lots of family things into 2 short week. We visited, we played, we shopped... The big events were E's graduation from the MA Fire Academy, bridal shopping with Ali, & Maya's play (which she was wonderful in). With Zilla's continuing influence, Bean decided crawling was no longer good enough. He is now standing at anything stationary, or even semi-stationary. Excellent. I do love their time together. Zilla is such a good big cousin, and Bean misses him so much once we leave. Whenever they see each other again this look of amazement washes over their faces. Then the double trouble are up no good.. And they aren't even running around. Yet. Not even running around yet!

As for Uncle E's graduation, it was 18 years in the making! At 6 yrs old my brother's dream of becoming a "police officer like dad" was tossed out the window without a second glance because of one movie. Backdraft. From that day on he always wanted to be a fire fighter. He did his research and had an alternate plan until his dream came true. First he went on to electrical school & received his license. As he started his work in the electrical field, he also started his education to become a fire fighter. First it was the classes to be a on-call fire fighter. Then he went on to get his EMT, which is where he met his lovely wife. He would go on to answer almost every call in which the call department was requested for backup. After a couple of years he went on to Paramedic training, which is mandatory for all FFs in our town... Passed just as there was an opening on the department. So late this summer his dream came true. Then to fill all requirements, he had to attend the Massachusetts Fire Academy for the past 3 months. We were all so proud to watch him walk across that stage with a huge smile on his face! It is a wonderful thing to see someone make their childhood dream come true!!!

As for April, there are no travels planned. Grampy, Grammy & Aunty Aimee will be here for Easter. MrE will be working away to make sure his department is ready for the replacement & upcoming inspection. I will be chasing around one very curious 9 month old!!!
